Chapter 27
16‘Again, if someone consecrates to the Lord part of the field of his own property, then your assessment shall be proportionate to the seed needed for it: a homer of barley seed at fifty shekels of silver. 17If he consecrates his field as of the year of jubilee, according to your assessment it shall stand. 18If he consecrates his field after the jubilee, however, then the priest shall calculate the price for him proportionate to the years that are left until the year of jubilee; and it shall be deducted from your assessment. 19If the one who consecrates it should ever want to redeem the field, then he shall add a fifth of your assessment price to it, so that it may belong to him. 20Yet if he does not redeem the field, but has sold the field to another person, it may no longer be redeemed; 21and when it reverts in the jubilee, the field shall be holy to the Lord, like a field banned from secular use; it shall be for the priest as his property. 22Or if he consecrates to the Lord a field which he has bought, which is not a part of the field of his own property, 23then the priest shall calculate for him the amount of your assessment up to the year of jubilee; and he shall on that day give your assessment as holy to the Lord. 24In the year of jubilee the field shall return to the one from whom he bought it, to whom the possession of the land belongs. 25Every assessment of yours, moreover, shall be by the shekel of the sanctuary. 16And if a man shall sanctify unto the Lord some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver. 17If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand. 18But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation. 19And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him. 20And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more. 21But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the Lord, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's.
22And if a man sanctify unto the Lord a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;
23Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the Lord.
24In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.
25And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.
26Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the Lord'S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the Lord'S.

16"If a man consecrates to the Lord any part of a field that he possesses, your assessment of value will be proportional to the seed needed to sow it, at the rate of fifty silver shekels for every five bushels of barley seed. 17If he consecrates his field during the Year of Jubilee, the price will stand according to your assessment. 18But if he consecrates his field after the Jubilee, the priest will calculate the price for him in proportion to the years left until the next Year of Jubilee, so that your assessment will be reduced. 19If the one who consecrated the field decides to redeem it, he must add a fifth to the assessed value, and the field will transfer back to him. 20But if he does not redeem the field or if he has sold it to another man, it is no longer redeemable. 21When the field is released in the Jubilee, it will be holy to the Lord like a field permanently set apart; it becomes the priest’s property.
22"If a person consecrates to the Lord a field he has purchased that is not part of his inherited landholding,
23then the priest will calculate for him the amount of the assessment up to the Year of Jubilee, and the person will pay the assessed value on that day as a holy offering to the Lord.
24In the Year of Jubilee the field will return to the one he bought it from, the original owner.
25All your assessed values will be measured by the standard sanctuary shekel, twenty gerahs to the shekel.

Chapter 27
16If someone dedicates to the Lord a piece of his family property, its value will be assessed according to the amount of seed required to plant it — fifty shekels of silver for a field planted with five bushels of barley seed. 17If the field is dedicated to the Lord in the Year of Jubilee, then the entire assessment will apply. 18But if the field is dedicated after the Year of Jubilee, the priest will assess the land’s value in proportion to the number of years left until the next Year of Jubilee. Its assessed value is reduced each year. 19If the person who dedicated the field wants to buy it back, he must pay the value set by the priest, plus 20 percent. Then the field will again be legally his. 20But if he does not want to buy it back, and it is sold to someone else, the field can no longer be bought back. 21When the field is released in the Year of Jubilee, it will be holy, a field specially set apart for the Lord. It will become the property of the priests.
22If someone dedicates to the Lord a field he has purchased but which is not part of his family property,
23the priest will assess its value based on the number of years left until the next Year of Jubilee. On that day he must give the assessed value of the land as a sacred donation to the Lord.
24In the Year of Jubilee the field must be returned to the person from whom he purchased it, the one who inherited it as family property.
25(All the payments must be measured by the weight of the sanctuary shekel, which equals twenty gerahs.)

A homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver. 17If he dedicates his field from the year of jubilee, the valuation shall stand, 18but if he dedicates his field after the jubilee, then the priest shall calculate the price according to the years that remain until the year of jubilee, and a deduction shall be made from the valuation. 19And if he who dedicates the field wishes to redeem it, then he shall add a fifth to its valuation price, and it shall remain his. 20But if he does not wish to redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed anymore. 21But the field, when it is released in the jubilee, shall be a holy gift to the Lord, like a field that has been devoted. The priest shall be in possession of it. 22If he dedicates to the Lord a field that he has bought, which is not a part of his possession, 23then the priest shall calculate the amount of the valuation for it up to the year of jubilee, and the man shall give the valuation on that day as a holy gift to the Lord. 24In the year of jubilee the field shall return to him from whom it was bought, to whom the land belongs as a possession. 25Every valuation shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall make a shekel.New International Version

23the priest will determine its value up to the Year of Jubilee, and the owner must pay its value on that day as something holy to the Lord.
24In the Year of Jubilee the field will revert to the person from whom it was bought, the one whose land it was.
