Luke 1:46-57

47And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
48For He has had regard for the humble state of His bond-servant; For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed.
49For the Mighty One has done great things for me; And holy is His name.
50And His mercy is to generation after generation Toward those who fear Him.
51He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their hearts.
52He has brought down rulers from their thrones, And has exalted those who were humble.
53He has filled the hungry with good things, And sent the rich away empty-handed.
54He has given help to His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy,
55Just as He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and his descendants forever.'

46And Mary said: My soul praises the greatness of the Lord, 47and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48because he has looked with favor on the humble condition of his servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed, 49because the Mighty One has done great things for me, and his name is holy. 50His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear him. 51He has done a mighty deed with his arm; he has scattered the proud because of the thoughts of their hearts; 52he has toppled the mighty from their thrones and exalted the lowly. 53He has satisfied the hungry with good things and sent the rich away empty. 54He has helped his servant Israel, remembering his mercy 55to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he spoke to our ancestors.New Living Translation

46Mary responded, 'Oh, how my soul praises the Lord. 47How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! 48For he took notice of his lowly servant girl, and from now on all generations will call me blessed. 49For the Mighty One is holy, and he has done great things for me. 50He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him. 51His mighty arm has done tremendous things!
