Chapter 17
7Now which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him after he comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and recline at the table to eat’? 8On the contrary, will he not say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, and properly clothe yourself and serve me while I eat and drink; and afterward you may eat and drink’? 9He does not thank the slave because he did the things which were commanded, does he? 10So you too, when you do all the things which were commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves; we have done only that which we ought to have done.’?'
11While He was on the way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee.
12And as He entered a village, ten men with leprosy who stood at a distance met Him;
13and they raised their voices, saying, 'Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!'
14When He saw them, He said to them, 'Go and show yourselves to the priests.' And as they were going, they were cleansed.
15Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,
16and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan.
17But Jesus responded and said, 'Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine—where are they?
18Was no one found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?'
19And He said to him, 'Stand up and go; your faith has made you well.'

7But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? 8And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? 9Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. 10So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
11And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed but where are the nine
18There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

7"Which one of you having a servant tending sheep or plowing will say to him when he comes in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? 8Instead, will he not tell him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, get ready, and serve me while I eat and drink; later you can eat and drink’? 9Does he thank that servant because he did what was commanded? 10In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say, ‘We are worthless servants; we’ve only done our duty.’"
11While traveling to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee.
12As he entered a village, ten men with leprosy met him. They stood at a distance
13and raised their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
15But one of them, seeing that he was healed, returned and, with a loud voice, gave glory to God.
16He fell facedown at his feet, thanking him. And he was a Samaritan.
17Then Jesus said, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?
18Didn’t any return to give glory to God except this foreigner?"
19And he told him, "Get up and go on your way. Your faith has saved you."

Chapter 17
7When a servant comes in from plowing or taking care of sheep, does his master say, ‘Come in and eat with me’? 8No, he says, ‘Prepare my meal, put on your apron, and serve me while I eat. Then you can eat later.’ 9And does the master thank the servant for doing what he was told to do? Of course not. 10In the same way, when you obey me you should say, ‘We are unworthy servants who have simply done our duty.’'
11As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria.
12As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance,
13crying out, 'Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!'
15One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, 'Praise God!'
16He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan.
17Jesus asked, 'Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine?
18Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?'
19And Jesus said to the man, 'Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you. '

11Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.
12As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance
13and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!"
15One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.
16He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.
17Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?
18Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?"
19Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well."
