Chapter 18

38And he called out, saying, 'Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!' 39Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, 'Son of David, have mercy on me!' 40And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him; and when he came near, He asked him, 41What do you want Me to do for you?' And he said, 'Lord, I want to regain my sight!' 42And Jesus said to him, 'Regain your sight; your faith has made you well.'

38And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 39And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 40And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, 41Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. 42And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

38So he called out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" 39Then those in front told him to keep quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
40Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to him. When he came closer, he asked him,
41"What do you want me to do for you?" "Lord," he said, "I want to see."
42"Receive your sight." Jesus told him. "Your faith has saved you."

39Be quiet!' the people in front yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, 'Son of David, have mercy on me!'
40When Jesus heard him, he stopped and ordered that the man be brought to him. As the man came near, Jesus asked him,
41What do you want me to do for you?' 'Lord,' he said, 'I want to see!'
42And Jesus said, 'All right, receive your sight! Your faith has healed you.'
