Chapter 19

30saying, 'Go into the village ahead of you; there, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, on which no one yet has ever sat; untie it and bring it here. 31And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ you shall say this: ‘ The Lord has need of it.’?' 32So those who were sent left and found it just as He had told them. 33And as they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, 'Why are you untying the colt?' 34They said, 'The Lord has need of it.' 35And they brought it to Jesus, and they threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. 36Now as He was going, they were spreading their cloaks on the road.

30Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. 31And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. 32And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
33And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? 34And they said, The Lord hath need of him. 35And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. 36And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.

30and said, "Go into the village ahead of you. As you enter it, you will find a young donkey tied there, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it. 31If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say this: ‘The Lord needs it.’"
32So those who were sent left and found it just as he had told them. 33As they were untying the young donkey, its owners said to them, "Why are you untying the donkey?"
34"The Lord needs it," they said. 35Then they brought it to Jesus, and after throwing their clothes on the donkey, they helped Jesus get on it. 36As he was going along, they were spreading their clothes on the road.

Chapter 19

30Go into that village over there,' he told them. 'As you enter it, you will see a young donkey tied there that no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 31If anyone asks, ‘Why are you untying that colt?’ just say, ‘The Lord needs it.’'
32So they went and found the colt, just as Jesus had said. 33And sure enough, as they were untying it, the owners asked them, 'Why are you untying that colt?'
34And the disciples simply replied, 'The Lord needs it.' 35So they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their garments over it for him to ride on.
36As he rode along, the crowds spread out their garments on the road ahead of him.
