Chapter 21

3And He said, 'Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all of them; 4for they all contributed to the offering from their surplus; but she, from her poverty, put in all that she had to live on.'
5And while some were talking about the temple, that it was decorated with beautiful stones and vowed gifts, He said,

3And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
5And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

5Some of his disciples began talking about the majestic stonework of the Temple and the memorial decorations on the walls. But Jesus said,
