Luke 22:2-24
New American Standard Bible
3And Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who belonged to the number of the twelve.
4And he left and discussed with the chief priests and officers how he was to betray Him to them.
5And they were delighted, and agreed to give him money.
6And so he consented, and began looking for a good opportunity to betray Him to them away from the crowd.
7Now the first day of Unleavened Bread came, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.
8And so Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, 'Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat it.'
9They said to Him, 'Where do You want us to prepare it?'
10And He said to them, 'When you have entered the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you; follow him into the house that he enters.
11And you shall say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, 'Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?'?’
12And he will show you a large, furnished upstairs room; prepare it there.'
13And they left and found everything just as He had told them; and they prepared the Passover.
14When the hour came, He reclined at the table, and the apostles with Him.
15And He said to them, 'I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;
16for I say to you, I shall not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.'
17And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He said, 'Take this and share it among yourselves;
18for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.'
19And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, 'This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.'
20And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, 'This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood.
21But behold, the hand of the one betraying Me is with Mine on the table.
22For indeed, the Son of Man is going as it has been determined; but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!'
23And they began to debate among themselves which one of them it was who was going to do this.

Chapter 22
2And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. 3Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. 4And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. 5And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. 6And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
7Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
8And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
9And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
10And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
11And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
12And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
13And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
15And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

4He went away and discussed with the chief priests and temple police how he could hand him over to them.
5They were glad and agreed to give him silver.
6So he accepted the offer and started looking for a good opportunity to betray him to them when the crowd was not present.
7Then the Day of Unleavened Bread came when the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.
8Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover."

12Then he will show you a large, furnished room upstairs. Make the preparations there."

3Then Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve disciples,
4and he went to the leading priests and captains of the Temple guard to discuss the best way to betray Jesus to them.
5They were delighted, and they promised to give him money.
6So he agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus so they could arrest him when the crowds weren’t around.
7Now the Festival of Unleavened Bread arrived, when the Passover lamb is sacrificed.
8Jesus sent Peter and John ahead and said, 'Go and prepare the Passover meal, so we can eat it together.'
10He replied, 'As soon as you enter Jerusalem, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him. At the house he enters,
11say to the owner, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover meal with my disciples?’
12He will take you upstairs to a large room that is already set up. That is where you should prepare our meal.'
13They went off to the city and found everything just as Jesus had said, and they prepared the Passover meal there.
14When the time came, Jesus and the apostles sat down together at the table.
15Jesus said, 'I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins.
16For I tell you now that I won’t eat this meal again until its meaning is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.'
17Then he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. Then he said, 'Take this and share it among yourselves.
18For I will not drink wine again until the Kingdom of God has come.'
