Chapter 24
3but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in gleaming clothing; 5and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, 'Why are you seeking the living One among the dead? 6He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, 7saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise from the dead.' 8And they remembered His words, 9and returned from the tomb and reported all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest. 10Now these women were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James; also the other women with them were telling these things to the apostles. 11But these words appeared to them as nonsense, and they would not believe the women.King James Version
Chapter 24
3And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. 4And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: 5And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? 6He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, 7Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. 8And they remembered his words,
9And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
10It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
11And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.

Chapter 24
3They went in but did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men stood by them in dazzling clothes.
5So the women were terrified and bowed down to the ground. "Why are you looking for the living among the dead?" asked the men.
6"He is not here, but he has risen! Remember how he spoke to you when he was still in Galilee,
7saying, ‘It is necessary that the Son of Man be betrayed into the hands of sinful men, be crucified, and rise on the third day’?"
8And they remembered his words.

Chapter 24
3So they went in, but they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes.
5The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, 'Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive?
6He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee,
7that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day.'
8Then they remembered that he had said this.
9So they rushed back from the tomb to tell his eleven disciples — and everyone else — what had happened.
10It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and several other women who told the apostles what had happened.
11But the story sounded like nonsense to the men, so they didn’t believe it.
