Chapter 24
30And it came about, when He had reclined at the table with them, that He took the bread and blessed it, and He broke it and began giving it to them. 31And then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight. 32They said to one another, 'Were our hearts not burning within us when He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?' 33And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together and those who were with them, 34saying, 'The Lord has really risen and has appeared to Simon!'King James Version

30As they sat down to eat, he took the bread and blessed it. Then he broke it and gave it to them. 31Suddenly, their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And at that moment he disappeared!
32They said to each other, 'Didn’t our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?'
33And within the hour they were on their way back to Jerusalem. There they found the eleven disciples and the others who had gathered with them,
34who said, 'The Lord has really risen! He appeared to Peter. '
