Chapter 8

45And Jesus said, 'Who is the one who touched Me?' And while they were all denying it, Peter said, 'Master, the people are crowding and pressing in on You.' 46But Jesus said, 'Someone did touch Me, for I was aware that power had left Me.' 47Now when the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling and fell down before Him, and admitted in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed. 48And He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.'
49While He was still speaking, someone *came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, 'Your daughter has died; do not trouble the Teacher anymore.'

45And Jesus said, Who touched me When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me 46And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. 47And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. 48And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
49While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

45"Who touched me?" Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the crowds are hemming you in and pressing against you."
46"Someone did touch me," said Jesus. "I know that power has gone out from me." 47When the woman saw that she was discovered, she came trembling and fell down before him. In the presence of all the people, she declared the reason she had touched him and how she was instantly healed. 48"Daughter," he said to her, "your faith has saved you. Go in peace."
49While he was still speaking, someone came from the synagogue leader’s house and said, "Your daughter is dead. Don’t bother the teacher anymore."

Chapter 8

45Who touched me?' Jesus asked. Everyone denied it, and Peter said, 'Master, this whole crowd is pressing up against you.'
46But Jesus said, 'Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me.' 47When the woman realized that she could not stay hidden, she began to tremble and fell to her knees in front of him. The whole crowd heard her explain why she had touched him and that she had been immediately healed. 48Daughter,' he said to her, 'your faith has made you well. Go in peace.'
49While he was still speaking to her, a messenger arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue. He told him, 'Your daughter is dead. There’s no use troubling the Teacher now.'
