Chapter 14

58We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that was made by hands, and in three days I will build another, made without hands.’?' 59And not even in this respect was their testimony consistent. 60And then the high priest stood up and came forward and questioned Jesus, saying, 'Do You not offer any answer for what these men are testifying against You?' 61But He kept silent and did not offer any answer. Again the high priest was questioning Him, and *said to Him, 'Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?' 62And Jesus said, 'I am; and you shall see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.' 63Tearing his clothes, the high priest *said, 'What further need do we have of witnesses? 64You have heard the blasphemy; how does it seem to you?' And they all condemned Him as deserving of death.

58We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands. 59But neither so did their witness agree together. 60And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? 61But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? 62And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
63Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? 64Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

60Then the high priest stood up before them all and questioned Jesus, "Don’t you have an answer to what these men are testifying against you?" 61But he kept silent and did not answer. Again the high priest questioned him, "Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?"
62"I am," said Jesus, "and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming with the clouds of heaven."
63Then the high priest tore his robes and said, "Why do we still need witnesses? 64You have heard the blasphemy. What is your decision?" They all condemned him as deserving death.

60Then the high priest stood up before the others and asked Jesus, 'Well, aren’t you going to answer these charges? What do you have to say for yourself?' 61But Jesus was silent and made no reply. Then the high priest asked him, 'Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?'
62Jesus said, 'I AM. And you will see the Son of Man seated in the place of power at God’s right hand and coming on the clouds of heaven. '
63Then the high priest tore his clothing to show his horror and said, 'Why do we need other witnesses?
64You have all heard his blasphemy. What is your verdict?' 'Guilty!' they all cried. 'He deserves to die!'

62"I am," said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."
63The high priest tore his clothes. "Why do we need any more witnesses?" he asked.
64"You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?" They all condemned him as worthy of death.
