Chapter 15
7And the one named Barabbas had been imprisoned with the rebels who had committed murder in the revolt. 8And the crowd went up and began asking Pilate to do as he had been accustomed to do for them. 9Pilate answered them, saying, 'Do you want me to release for you the King of the Jews?' 10For he was aware that the chief priests had handed Him over because of envy. 11But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to ask him to release Barabbas for them instead. 12And responding again, Pilate said to them, 'Then what shall I do with Him whom you call the King of the Jews?'King James Version

7There was one named Barabbas, who was in prison with rebels who had committed murder during the rebellion. 8The crowd came up and began to ask Pilate to do for them as was his custom. 9Pilate answered them, "Do you want me to release the King of the Jews for you?" 10For he knew it was because of envy that the chief priests had handed him over. 11But the chief priests stirred up the crowd so that he would release Barabbas to them instead. 12Pilate asked them again, "Then what do you want me to do with the one you call the King of the Jews?"New Living Translation
Chapter 15
7One of the prisoners at that time was Barabbas, a revolutionary who had committed murder in an uprising. 8The crowd went to Pilate and asked him to release a prisoner as usual.
9Would you like me to release to you this ‘King of the Jews’?' Pilate asked.
10(For he realized by now that the leading priests had arrested Jesus out of envy.)
11But at this point the leading priests stirred up the crowd to demand the release of Barabbas instead of Jesus.
12Pilate asked them, 'Then what should I do with this man you call the king of the Jews?'
