Chapter 14

28Peter responded and said to Him, 'Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.' 29And He said, 'Come!' And Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. 30But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and when he began to sink, he cried out, saying, 'Lord, save me!' 31Immediately Jesus reached out with His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, 'You of little faith, why did you doubt?' 32When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. 33And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, 'You are truly God’s Son!'

28And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt 32And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. 33Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

28"Lord, if it’s you," Peter answered him, "command me to come to you on the water."
29He said, "Come." And climbing out of the boat, Peter started walking on the water and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, "Lord, save me!"
31Immediately Jesus reached out his hand, caught hold of him, and said to him, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?"
32When they got into the boat, the wind ceased. 33Then those in the boat worshiped him and said, "Truly you are the Son of God."

28Then Peter called to him, 'Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.'
29Yes, come,' Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. 'Save me, Lord!' he shouted.
31Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. 'You have so little faith,' Jesus said. 'Why did you doubt me?'
32When they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped. 33Then the disciples worshiped him. 'You really are the Son of God!' they exclaimed.
