Matthew 26:56-61
New American Standard Bible
57Those who had arrested Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas, the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were gathered together.
58But Peter was following Him at a distance, as far as the courtyard of the high priest, and he came inside and sat down with the officers to see the outcome.
59Now the chief priests and the entire Council kept trying to obtain false testimony against Jesus, so that they might put Him to death.
60They did not find any, even though many false witnesses came forward. But later on two came forward,
61and said, 'This man stated, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and to rebuild it in three days.’?'
King James Version
57And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.
58But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest's palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.
59Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
60But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,
61And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

New Living Translation
57Then the people who had arrested Jesus led him to the home of Caiaphas, the high priest, where the teachers of religious law and the elders had gathered.
58Meanwhile, Peter followed him at a distance and came to the high priest’s courtyard. He went in and sat with the guards and waited to see how it would all end.
59Inside, the leading priests and the entire high council were trying to find witnesses who would lie about Jesus, so they could put him to death.
60But even though they found many who agreed to give false witness, they could not use anyone’s testimony. Finally, two men came forward
61who declared, 'This man said, ‘I am able to destroy the Temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’'
