New American Standard Bible
Chapter 9
28And after He entered the house, the men who were blind came up to Him, and Jesus *said to them, 'Do you believe that I am able to do this?' They *said to Him, 'Yes, Lord.' 29Then He touched their eyes, saying, 'It shall be done for you according to your faith.' 30And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, 'See that no one knows about this!' 31But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout that land.
32And as they were going out, behold, a demon-possessed man who was unable to speak was brought to Him.
33And after the demon was cast out, the man who was previously unable to speak talked; and the crowds were amazed, and were saying, 'Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.'
34But the Pharisees were saying, 'He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.'

Chapter 9
28And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. 31But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
32As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
33And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
34But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
36But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Christian Standard Bible
29Then he touched their eyes, saying, "Let it be done for you according to your faith."
30And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus warned them sternly, "Be sure that no one finds out."
31But they went out and spread the news about him throughout that whole area.
32Just as they were going out, a demon-possessed man who was unable to speak was brought to him.
33When the demon had been driven out, the man who had been mute spoke, and the crowds were amazed, saying, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!"
35Jesus continued going around to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness.
36When he saw the crowds, he felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd.
37Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few.
38Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest."
New Living Translation
29Then he touched their eyes and said, 'Because of your faith, it will happen.'
30Then their eyes were opened, and they could see! Jesus sternly warned them, 'Don’t tell anyone about this.'
31But instead, they went out and spread his fame all over the region.
32When they left, a demon-possessed man who couldn’t speak was brought to Jesus.
33So Jesus cast out the demon, and then the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed. 'Nothing like this has ever happened in Israel!' they exclaimed.
35Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.
36When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
37He said to his disciples, 'The harvest is great, but the workers are few.
38So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.'
