Micah 7:5-10
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 7
5Do not trust in a neighbor; Do not have confidence in a close friend. Guard your lips From her who lies in your arms. 6For son disavows father, Daughter rises up against her mother, Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A person’s enemies are the people of his own household. 7But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. 8Do not rejoice over me, enemy of mine. Though I fall I will rise; Though I live in darkness, the Lord is a light for me. 9I will endure the rage of the Lord Because I have sinned against Him, Until He pleads my case and executes justice for me. He will bring me out to the light, And I will look at His righteousness. 10Then my enemy will see, And shame will cover her who said to me, 'Where is the Lord your God?' My eyes will look at her; At that time she will be trampled down Like mud of the streets.King James Version

Chapter 7
5Do not rely on a friend; don’t trust in a close companion. Seal your mouth from the woman who lies in your arms. 6Surely a son considers his father a fool, a daughter opposes her mother, and a daughter-in-law is against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own household. 7But I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. 8Do not rejoice over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will stand up; though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. 9Because I have sinned against him, I must endure the Lord’s rage until he champions my cause and establishes justice for me. He will bring me into the light; I will see his salvation.New Living Translation
Chapter 7
5Don’t trust anyone — not your best friend or even your wife! 6For the son despises his father. The daughter defies her mother. The daughter-in-law defies her mother-in-law. Your enemies are right in your own household!
7As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.
8Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.
9I will be patient as the Lord punishes me, for I have sinned against him. But after that, he will take up my case and give me justice for all I have suffered from my enemies. The Lord will bring me into the light, and I will see his righteousness.
10Then my enemies will see that the Lord is on my side. They will be ashamed that they taunted me, saying, 'So where is the Lord — that God of yours?' With my own eyes I will see their downfall; they will be trampled like mud in the streets.

Chapter 7
5 Put no trust in a neighbor; have no confidence in a friend; guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your arms; 6for the son treats the father with contempt, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man 's enemies are the men of his own house. 7But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. 8 Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me. 9 I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause and executes judgment for me. He will bring me out to the light; I shall look upon his vindication. 10Then my enemy will see, and shame will cover her who said to me, "Where is the Lord your God?" My eyes will look upon her; now she will be trampled down like the mire of the streets.New International Version
6For a son dishonors his father, a daughter rises up against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies are the members of his own household.
7But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
8Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.
9Because I have sinned against him, I will bear the Lord’s wrath, until he pleads my case and upholds my cause. He will bring me out into the light; I will see his righteousness.
