Chapter 14

3So why is the Lord bringing us into this land to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become plunder! Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?' 4So they said to one another, 'Let’s appoint a leader and return to Egypt!'
5Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces in the presence of all the assembly of the congregation of the sons of Israel.

3And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? 4And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.
5Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.
