Chapter 15
14Now if a stranger resides among you, or one who may be among you throughout your generations, and he wants to make an offering by fire, as a soothing aroma to the Lord, just as you do so shall he do. 15As for the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who resides among you, a permanent statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord. 16There is to be one law and one ordinance for you and for the stranger who resides with you.’?'
17Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
18Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land where I am bringing you,
19then it shall be, that when you eat from the food of the land, you shall lift up an offering to the Lord.
20Of the first of your dough you shall lift up a loaf as an offering; as an offering of the threshing floor, so you shall lift it up.
21From the first of your dough you shall give to the Lord an offering throughout your generations.
22‘But when you unintentionally do wrong and fail to comply with all these commandments which the Lord has spoken to Moses,
23that is, all that the Lord has commanded you through Moses from the day that the Lord gave commandments and onward, throughout your generations,
24then it shall be, if it is done unintentionally, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one bull as a burnt offering, as a soothing aroma to the Lord, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and one male goat as a sin offering.
25Then the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and they will be forgiven; for it was an unintentional wrong, and they have brought their offering, an offering by fire to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord, for their unintentional wrong.
26So all the congregation of the sons of Israel will be forgiven, as well as the stranger who resides among them, for guilt was attributed to all the people through an unintentional wrong.
27‘Also, if one person sins unintentionally, then he shall offer a one-year-old female goat as a sin offering.
28And the priest shall make atonement before the Lord for the person who goes astray by an unintentional sin, making atonement for him so that he may be forgiven.
29You shall have one law for the native among the sons of Israel and for the stranger who resides among them, for one who does anything wrong unintentionally.
30But the person who does wrong defiantly, whether he is a native or a stranger, that one is blaspheming the Lord; and that person shall be cut off from among his people.
31Since he has despised the word of the Lord and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt will be on him.’?'
32Now while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
33And those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation;
34and they placed him in custody, because it had not been decided what should be done to him.

14And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord; as ye do, so he shall do. 15One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord. 16One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you. 17And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 18Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you, 19Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the Lord. 20Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it. 21Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the Lord an heave offering in your generations. 22And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the Lord hath spoken unto Moses, 23Even all that the Lord hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the Lord commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations; 24Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the Lord, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering. 25And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord, for their ignorance: 26And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.
27And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.
28And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
29Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
30But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
31Because he hath despised the word of the Lord, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.
32And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
33And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
34And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.

Chapter 15
14When an alien resides with you or someone else is among you and wants to prepare a fire offering as a pleasing aroma to the Lord, he is to do exactly as you do throughout your generations. 15The assembly is to have the same statute for both you and the resident alien as a permanent statute throughout your generations. You and the alien will be alike before the Lord. 16The same law and the same ordinance will apply to both you and the alien who resides with you."
17The Lord instructed Moses:
18"Speak to the Israelites and tell them: After you enter the land where I am bringing you,
19you are to offer a contribution to the Lord when you eat from the food of the land.
20You are to offer a loaf from your first batch of dough as a contribution; offer it just like a contribution from the threshing floor.
21Throughout your generations, you are to give the Lord a contribution from the first batch of your dough.
22"When you sin unintentionally and do not obey all these commands that the Lord spoke to Moses —
23all that the Lord has commanded you through Moses, from the day the Lord issued the commands and onward throughout your generations—
24and if it was done unintentionally without the community’s awareness, the entire community is to prepare one young bull for a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to the Lord, with its grain offering and drink offering according to the regulation, and one male goat as a sin offering.
25The priest will then make atonement for the entire Israelite community so that they may be forgiven, for the sin was unintentional. They are to bring their offering, one made by fire to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord for their unintentional sin.
26The entire Israelite community and the alien who resides among them will be forgiven, since it happened to all the people unintentionally.
27"If one person sins unintentionally, he is to present a year-old female goat as a sin offering.
28The priest will then make atonement before the Lord on behalf of the person who acts in error sinning unintentionally, and when he makes atonement for him, he will be forgiven.
29You are to have the same law for the person who acts in error, whether he is an Israelite or an alien who resides among you.
New Living Translation
Chapter 15
14And if any foreigners visit you or live among you and want to present a special gift as a pleasing aroma to the Lord, they must follow these same procedures. 15Native-born Israelites and foreigners are equal before the Lord and are subject to the same decrees. This is a permanent law for you, to be observed from generation to generation. 16The same instructions and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigners living among you.'
18Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. 'When you arrive in the land where I am taking you,
19and you eat the crops that grow there, you must set some aside as a sacred offering to the Lord.
20Present a cake from the first of the flour you grind, and set it aside as a sacred offering, as you do with the first grain from the threshing floor.
21Throughout the generations to come, you are to present a sacred offering to the Lord each year from the first of your ground flour.
22But suppose you unintentionally fail to carry out all these commands that the Lord has given you through Moses.
23And suppose your descendants in the future fail to do everything the Lord has commanded through Moses.
24If the mistake was made unintentionally, and the community was unaware of it, the whole community must present a young bull for a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to the Lord. It must be offered along with its prescribed grain offering and liquid offering and with one male goat for a sin offering.
25With it the priest will purify the whole community of Israel, making them right with the Lord, and they will be forgiven. For it was an unintentional sin, and they have corrected it with their offerings to the Lord — the special gift and the sin offering.
26The whole community of Israel will be forgiven, including the foreigners living among you, for all the people were involved in the sin.
27If one individual commits an unintentional sin, the guilty person must bring a one-year-old female goat for a sin offering.
28The priest will sacrifice it to purify the guilty person before the Lord, and that person will be forgiven.
29These same instructions apply both to native-born Israelites and to the foreigners living among you.
30But those who brazenly violate the Lord’s will, whether native-born Israelites or foreigners, have blasphemed the Lord, and they must be cut off from the community.
31Since they have treated the Lord’s word with contempt and deliberately disobeyed his command, they must be completely cut off and suffer the punishment for their guilt.'

27"If one person sins unintentionally, he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering.
28And the priest shall make atonement before the Lord for the person who makes a mistake, when he sins unintentionally, to make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.
29You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the people of Israel and for the stranger who sojourns among them.
30But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.
31Because he has despised the word of the Lord and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him."

Chapter 15
14For the generations to come, whenever a foreigner or anyone else living among you presents a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord, they must do exactly as you do. 15The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord: 16The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.’ "
17The Lord said to Moses,
18"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land to which I am taking you
19and you eat the food of the land, present a portion as an offering to the Lord.
20Present a loaf from the first of your ground meal and present it as an offering from the threshing floor.
21Throughout the generations to come you are to give this offering to the Lord from the first of your ground meal.
22" ‘Now if you as a community unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the Lord gave Moses—
23any of the Lord’s commands to you through him, from the day the Lord gave them and continuing through the generations to come—
24and if this is done unintentionally without the community being aware of it, then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord, along with its prescribed grain offering and drink offering, and a male goat for a sin offering.
25The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven, for it was not intentional and they have presented to the Lord for their wrong a food offering and a sin offering.
26The whole Israelite community and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.
27" ‘But if just one person sins unintentionally, that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering.
28The priest is to make atonement before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.
29One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.
