Chapter 35

29‘These things shall be a statutory ordinance for you throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
30‘ If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the testimony of witnesses, but no person shall be put to death on the testimony of only one witness. 31Moreover, you shall not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer who is condemned to death, but he must be put to death.

30Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die. 31Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.
