Chapter 21

10The soul of the wicked desires evil; His neighbor is shown no compassion in his eyes. 11When the scoffer is punished, the naive becomes wise; But when the wise is instructed, he receives knowledge. 12The righteous one considers the house of the wicked, Bringing the wicked to ruin.

10The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.
11When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
12The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.

11When a mocker is punished, the inexperienced become wiser; when one teaches a wise man, he acquires knowledge.
