Psalms 102:9-14
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 102
9For I have eaten ashes like bread, And mixed my drink with weeping 10Because of Your indignation and Your wrath; For You have lifted me up and thrown me away. 11My days are like a lengthened shadow, And I wither away like grass. 12But You, Lord, remain forever, And Your name remains to all generations. 13You will arise and have compassion on Zion; For it is time to be gracious to her, For the appointed time has come. 14Surely Your servants take pleasure in her stones, And feel pity for her dust.King James Version

Chapter 102
9I eat ashes for food. My tears run down into my drink 10because of your anger and wrath. For you have picked me up and thrown me out. 11My life passes as swiftly as the evening shadows. I am withering away like grass.
12But you, O Lord, will sit on your throne forever. Your fame will endure to every generation.
13You will arise and have mercy on Jerusalem — and now is the time to pity her, now is the time you promised to help.
14For your people love every stone in her walls and cherish even the dust in her streets.

Chapter 102
9For I eat ashes as my food and mingle my drink with tears 10because of your great wrath, for you have taken me up and thrown me aside.
11My days are like the evening shadow; I wither away like grass.
12But you, Lord, sit enthroned forever; your renown endures through all generations.
13You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.
14For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity.
