Chapter 105

10Then He confirmed it to Jacob as a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant, 11Saying, 'To you I will give the land of Canaan As the portion of your inheritance,' 12When they were only a few people in number, Very few, and strangers in it. 13And they wandered from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people, 14He allowed no one to oppress them, And He rebuked kings for their sakes, saying, 15'Do not touch My anointed ones, And do not harm My prophets.'

Chapter 105

10And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
12When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
13When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
14He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

15"Do not touch my anointed ones, or harm my prophets."

12He said this when they were few in number, a tiny group of strangers in Canaan. 13They wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another. 14Yet he did not let anyone oppress them. He warned kings on their behalf: 15'Do not touch my chosen people, and do not hurt my prophets.'
