22 Wonders in the land of Ham, And awesome things by the Red Sea. 23Therefore He said that He would destroy them, If Moses, His chosen one, had not stood in the gap before Him, To turn away His wrath from destroying them. 24Then they rejected the pleasant land; They did not believe His word, 25But grumbled in their tents; They did not listen to the voice of the Lord. 26Therefore He swore to them That He would have them fall in the wilderness, 27And that He would bring down their descendants among the nations, And scatter them in the lands.King James Version

25They grumbled in their tents and did not listen to the Lord.
26So he raised his hand against them with an oath that he would make them fall in the desert

Chapter 106
22such wonderful things in the land of Ham, such awesome deeds at the Red Sea. 23So he declared he would destroy them. But Moses, his chosen one, stepped between the Lord and the people. He begged him to turn from his anger and not destroy them.
24The people refused to enter the pleasant land, for they wouldn’t believe his promise to care for them.
25Instead, they grumbled in their tents and refused to obey the Lord.
26Therefore, he solemnly swore that he would kill them in the wilderness,
27that he would scatter their descendants among the nations, exiling them to distant lands.
