Psalms 106:36-43
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 106
36And served their idols, Which became a snare to them. 37They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons, 38And shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and their daughters Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was defiled with the blood. 39So they became unclean in their practices, And were unfaithful in their deeds. 40Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against His people, And He loathed His inheritance. 41So He handed them over to the nations, And those who hated them ruled over them. 42Their enemies also oppressed them, And they were subdued under their power. 43Many times He would rescue them; They, however, were rebellious in their plan, And they sank down into their guilt.King James Version

Chapter 106
36They served their idols, which became a snare to them. 37They sacrificed their sons and daughters to demons. 38They shed innocent blood— the blood of their sons and daughters whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; so the land became polluted with blood.
39They defiled themselves by their actions and prostituted themselves by their deeds.
40Therefore the Lord’s anger burned against his people, and he abhorred his own inheritance.
41He handed them over to the nations; those who hated them ruled over them.
42Their enemies oppressed them, and they were subdued under their power.
New Living Translation
Chapter 106
36They worshiped their idols, which led to their downfall. 37They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons. 38They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters. By sacrificing them to the idols of Canaan, they polluted the land with murder. 39They defiled themselves by their evil deeds, and their love of idols was adultery in the Lord’s sight.
40That is why the Lord’s anger burned against his people, and he abhorred his own special possession.
41He handed them over to pagan nations, and they were ruled by those who hated them.
42Their enemies crushed them and brought them under their cruel power.
43Again and again he rescued them, but they chose to rebel against him, and they were finally destroyed by their sin.

Chapter 106
36They served their idols, which became a snare to them. 37They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; 38they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood. 39Thus they became unclean by their acts, and played the whore in their deeds. 40Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his heritage; 41he gave them into the hand of the nations, so that those who hated them ruled over them. 42Their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their power. 43 Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their purposes and were brought low through their iniquity.New International Version
Chapter 106
36They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them. 37They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to false gods. 38They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.
39They defiled themselves by what they did; by their deeds they prostituted themselves.
40Therefore the Lord was angry with his people and abhorred his inheritance.
41He gave them into the hands of the nations, and their foes ruled over them.
42Their enemies oppressed them and subjected them to their power.
43Many times he delivered them, but they were bent on rebellion and they wasted away in their sin.
