Chapter 119
113I hate those who are double-minded, But I love Your Law. 114You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word. 115Leave me, you evildoers, So that I may comply with the commandments of my God. 116Sustain me according to Your word, that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my hope. 117Sustain me so that I may be safe, That I may have regard for Your statutes continually. 118You have rejected all those who stray from Your statutes, For their deceitfulness is useless. 119You have removed all the wicked of the earth like impurities; Therefore I love Your testimonies. 120My flesh trembles from the fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments. 121I have done justice and righteousness; Do not leave me to my oppressors. 122Be a guarantor for Your servant for good; Do not let the arrogant oppress me. 123My eyes fail with longing for Your salvation, And for Your righteous word. 124Deal with Your servant according to Your graciousness, And teach me Your statutes. 125I am Your servant; give me understanding, So that I may know Your testimonies. 126It is time for the Lord to act, For they have broken Your Law. 127Therefore I love Your commandments Above gold, yes, above pure gold. 128Therefore I carefully follow all Your precepts concerning everything, I hate every false way. 129Your testimonies are wonderful; Therefore my soul complies with them. 130The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. 131I opened my mouth wide and panted, For I longed for Your commandments. 132Turn to me and be gracious to me, As is right for those who love Your name. 133Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me. 134Redeem me from oppression by man, So that I may keep Your precepts. 135Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes. 136My eyes shed streams of water, Because they do not keep Your Law. 137You are righteous, Lord, And Your judgments are right. 138You have commanded Your testimonies in righteousness And great faithfulness. 139My zeal has consumed me, Because my enemies have forgotten Your words. 140Your word is very pure, Therefore Your servant loves it. 141I am small and despised, Yet I do not forget Your precepts. 142Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your Law is truth. 143Trouble and anguish have come upon me, Yet Your commandments are my delight. 144Your testimonies are righteous forever; Give me understanding that I may live. 145I cried out with all my heart; answer me, Lord! I will comply with Your statutes. 146I cried to You; save me And I shall keep Your testimonies. 147I rise before dawn and cry for help; I wait for Your words. 148My eyes anticipate the night watches, So that I may meditate on Your word. 149Hear my voice according to Your faithfulness; Revive me, Lord, according to Your judgments. 150Those who follow after wickedness approach; They are far from Your Law. 151You are near, Lord, And all Your commandments are truth. 152From long ago I have known from Your testimonies That You have founded them forever. 153Look at my affliction and rescue me, For I have not forgotten Your Law. 154Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to Your word. 155Salvation is far from the wicked, For they do not seek Your statutes. 156 Great are Your mercies, Lord; Revive me according to Your judgments. 157Many are my persecutors and my enemies, Yet I do not turn aside from Your testimonies. 158I see the treacherous and loathe them, Because they do not keep Your word. 159Consider how I love Your precepts; Revive me, Lord, according to Your faithfulness. 160The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments is everlasting. 161Rulers persecute me without cause, But my heart stands in awe of Your words. 162I rejoice at Your word, Like one who finds great plunder. 163I hate and loathe falsehood, But I love Your Law. 164Seven times a day I praise You Because of Your righteous judgments. 165Those who love Your Law have great peace, And nothing causes them to stumble. 166I hope for Your salvation, Lord, And do Your commandments. 167My soul keeps Your testimonies, And I love them exceedingly. 168I keep Your precepts and Your testimonies, For all my ways are before You. 169Let my cry come before You, Lord; Give me understanding according to Your word. 170Let my pleading come before You; Save me according to Your word. 171Let my lips pour out praise, For You teach me Your statutes. 172Let my tongue sing about Your word, For all Your commandments are righteousness. 173Let Your hand be ready to help me, For I have chosen Your precepts. 174I long for Your salvation, Lord, And Your Law is my delight. 175Let my soul live that it may praise You, And let Your ordinances help me.King James Version
120My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
121AIN. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.
128Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
129PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
136Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.
137TZADDI. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments.
144The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
145KOPH. I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord: I will keep thy statutes.
152Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
153RESH. Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
160Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
161SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.

113I hate those who are double-minded, but I love your instruction. 114You are my shelter and my shield; I put my hope in your word. 115Depart from me, you evil ones, so that I may obey my God’s commands. 116Sustain me as you promised, and I will live; do not let me be ashamed of my hope. 117Sustain me so that I can be safe and always be concerned about your statutes. 118You reject all who stray from your statutes, for their deceit is a lie. 119You remove all the wicked on earth as if they were dross from metal; therefore, I love your decrees. 120I tremble in awe of you; I fear your judgments. 121I have done what is just and right; do not leave me to my oppressors. 122Guarantee your servant’s well-being; do not let the arrogant oppress me. 123My eyes grow weary looking for your salvation and for your righteous promise. 124Deal with your servant based on your faithful love; teach me your statutes. 125I am your servant; give me understanding so that I may know your decrees. 126It is time for the Lord to act, for they have violated your instruction. 127Since I love your commands more than gold, even the purest gold, 128I carefully follow all your precepts and hate every false way. 129Your decrees are wondrous; therefore I obey them. 130The revelation of your words brings light and gives understanding to the inexperienced. 131I open my mouth and pant because I long for your commands. 132Turn to me and be gracious to me, as is your practice toward those who love your name. 133Make my steps steady through your promise; don’t let any sin dominate me. 134Redeem me from human oppression, and I will keep your precepts. 135Make your face shine on your servant, and teach me your statutes. 136My eyes pour out streams of tears because people do not follow your instruction. 137You are righteous, Lord, and your judgments are just. 138The decrees you issue are righteous and altogether trustworthy. 139My anger overwhelms me because my foes forget your words. 140Your word is completely pure, and your servant loves it. 141I am insignificant and despised, but I do not forget your precepts. 142Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your instruction is true. 143Trouble and distress have overtaken me, but your commands are my delight. 144Your decrees are righteous forever. Chapter 119
113I hate those with divided loyalties, but I love your instructions. 114You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope. 115Get out of my life, you evil-minded people, for I intend to obey the commands of my God. 116Lord, sustain me as you promised, that I may live! Do not let my hope be crushed. 117Sustain me, and I will be rescued; then I will meditate continually on your decrees. 118But you have rejected all who stray from your decrees. They are only fooling themselves. 119You skim off the wicked of the earth like scum; no wonder I love to obey your laws! 120I tremble in fear of you; I stand in awe of your regulations.
121Don’t leave me to the mercy of my enemies, for I have done what is just and right.
122Please guarantee a blessing for me. Don’t let the arrogant oppress me!
123My eyes strain to see your rescue, to see the truth of your promise fulfilled.
124I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your decrees.
125Give discernment to me, your servant; then I will understand your laws.
126Lord, it is time for you to act, for these evil people have violated your instructions.
127Truly, I love your commands more than gold, even the finest gold.
128Each of your commandments is right. That is why I hate every false way.
129Your laws are wonderful. No wonder I obey them!
130The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.
131I pant with expectation, longing for your commands.
132Come and show me your mercy, as you do for all who love your name.

134Ransom me from the oppression of evil people; then I can obey your commandments.

150Lawless people are coming to attack me; they live far from your instructions.

154Argue my case; take my side! Protect my life as you promised.
155The wicked are far from rescue, for they do not bother with your decrees.

158Seeing these traitors makes me sick at heart, because they care nothing for your word.

161Powerful people harass me without cause, but my heart trembles only at your word.
162I rejoice in your word like one who discovers a great treasure.
