Chapter 119
116Sustain me according to Your word, that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my hope. 117Sustain me so that I may be safe, That I may have regard for Your statutes continually. 118You have rejected all those who stray from Your statutes, For their deceitfulness is useless. 119You have removed all the wicked of the earth like impurities; Therefore I love Your testimonies. 120My flesh trembles from the fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments. 121I have done justice and righteousness; Do not leave me to my oppressors. 122Be a guarantor for Your servant for good; Do not let the arrogant oppress me. 123My eyes fail with longing for Your salvation, And for Your righteous word. 124Deal with Your servant according to Your graciousness, And teach me Your statutes. 125I am Your servant; give me understanding, So that I may know Your testimonies. 126It is time for the Lord to act, For they have broken Your Law. 127Therefore I love Your commandments Above gold, yes, above pure gold. 128Therefore I carefully follow all Your precepts concerning everything, I hate every false way. 129Your testimonies are wonderful; Therefore my soul complies with them. 130The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. 131I opened my mouth wide and panted, For I longed for Your commandments. 132Turn to me and be gracious to me, As is right for those who love Your name. 133Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me. 134Redeem me from oppression by man, So that I may keep Your precepts. 135Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes. 136My eyes shed streams of water, Because they do not keep Your Law. 137You are righteous, Lord, And Your judgments are right. 138You have commanded Your testimonies in righteousness And great faithfulness. 139My zeal has consumed me, Because my enemies have forgotten Your words. 140Your word is very pure, Therefore Your servant loves it.King James Version

116Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
120My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
121AIN. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.
128Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
129PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

116Sustain me as you promised, and I will live; do not let me be ashamed of my hope. 117Sustain me so that I can be safe and always be concerned about your statutes. 118You reject all who stray from your statutes, for their deceit is a lie. 119You remove all the wicked on earth as if they were dross from metal; therefore, I love your decrees. 120I tremble in awe of you; I fear your judgments. 121I have done what is just and right; do not leave me to my oppressors. 122Guarantee your servant’s well-being; do not let the arrogant oppress me. 123My eyes grow weary looking for your salvation and for your righteous promise. 124Deal with your servant based on your faithful love; teach me your statutes. 125I am your servant; give me understanding so that I may know your decrees. 126It is time for the Lord to act, for they have violated your instruction. 127Since I love your commands more than gold, even the purest gold, 128I carefully follow all your precepts and hate every false way. 129Your decrees are wondrous; therefore I obey them. 130The revelation of your words brings light and gives understanding to the inexperienced. 131I open my mouth and pant because I long for your commands. 132Turn to me and be gracious to me, as is your practice toward those who love your name. 133Make my steps steady through your promise; don’t let any sin dominate me. 134Redeem me from human oppression, and I will keep your precepts. 135Make your face shine on your servant, and teach me your statutes. 136My eyes pour out streams of tears because people do not follow your instruction. 137You are righteous, Lord, and your judgments are just. 138The decrees you issue are righteous and altogether trustworthy. 139My anger overwhelms me because my foes forget your words. 140Your word is completely pure, and your servant loves it.New Living Translation
Chapter 119
116Lord, sustain me as you promised, that I may live! Do not let my hope be crushed. 117Sustain me, and I will be rescued; then I will meditate continually on your decrees. 118But you have rejected all who stray from your decrees. They are only fooling themselves. 119You skim off the wicked of the earth like scum; no wonder I love to obey your laws! 120I tremble in fear of you; I stand in awe of your regulations.
121Don’t leave me to the mercy of my enemies, for I have done what is just and right.
122Please guarantee a blessing for me. Don’t let the arrogant oppress me!
123My eyes strain to see your rescue, to see the truth of your promise fulfilled.
124I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your decrees.
125Give discernment to me, your servant; then I will understand your laws.
126Lord, it is time for you to act, for these evil people have violated your instructions.
127Truly, I love your commands more than gold, even the finest gold.
128Each of your commandments is right. That is why I hate every false way.
129Your laws are wonderful. No wonder I obey them!
130The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.
131I pant with expectation, longing for your commands.
132Come and show me your mercy, as you do for all who love your name.
133Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil.
134Ransom me from the oppression of evil people; then I can obey your commandments.
135Look upon me with love; teach me your decrees.
136Rivers of tears gush from my eyes because people disobey your instructions.
