Chapter 119

53Burning indignation has seized me because of the wicked, Who abandon Your Law. 54Your statutes are my songs In the house of my pilgrimage. 55Lord, I remember Your name in the night, And keep Your Law. 56This has become mine, That I comply with Your precepts. 57The Lord is my portion; I have promised to keep Your words. 58I sought Your favor with all my heart; Be gracious to me according to Your word.

53Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law.
56This I had, because I kept thy precepts. 57CHETH. Thou art my portion, O Lord: I have said that I would keep thy words.
58I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
