Psalms 139:7-11
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 139
7Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. 9 If I take up the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, 10Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will take hold of me. 11 If I say, 'Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, And the light around me will be night,'King James Version
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 139
7Where can I go to escape your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there. 9If I live at the eastern horizon or settle at the western limits, 10even there your hand will lead me; your right hand will hold on to me. 11If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light around me will be night" —New Living Translation
Chapter 139
7I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! 8If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. 9If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, 10even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. 11I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night —English Standard Version

Chapter 139
7Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 9If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. 11If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,"New King James Version
