Psalms 147:5-12
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 147
5Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite. 6The Lord supports the afflicted; He brings the wicked down to the ground. 7Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; Sing praises to our God on the lyre; 8 It is He who covers the heavens with clouds, Who provides rain for the earth, Who makes grass sprout on the mountains. 9 It is He who gives an animal its food, And feeds young ravens that cry. 10He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He does not take pleasure in the legs of a man. 11The Lord favors those who fear Him, Those who wait for His faithfulness. 12Praise the Lord, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion!King James Version
Christian Standard Bible

8who covers the sky with clouds, prepares rain for the earth, and causes grass to grow on the hills.

Chapter 147
5How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! 6The Lord supports the humble, but he brings the wicked down into the dust.
7Sing out your thanks to the Lord; sing praises to our God with a harp.
8He covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, and makes the grass grow in mountain pastures.
9He gives food to the wild animals and feeds the young ravens when they cry.
10He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might.
11No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.

Praise your God, O Zion!New International Version
