Chapter 92

7When the wicked sprouted up like grass And all who did injustice flourished, It was only that they might be destroyed forevermore. 8But You, Lord, are on high forever. 9For, behold, Your enemies, Lord, For, behold, Your enemies will perish; All who do injustice will be scattered. 10But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil. 11And my eye has looked at my enemies, My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me. 12The righteous person will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13Planted in the house of the Lord, They will flourish in the courtyards of our God.

Chapter 92

7When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
8But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.
9For, lo, thine enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
10But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
11Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

11My eyes look at my enemies; when evildoers rise against me, my ears hear them. 12The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon. 13Planted in the house of the Lord, they thrive in the courts of our God.

7Though the wicked sprout like weeds and evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.
8But you, O Lord, will be exalted forever. 9Your enemies, Lord, will surely perish; all evildoers will be scattered. 10But you have made me as strong as a wild ox. You have anointed me with the finest oil. 11My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the defeat of my wicked opponents. 12But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. 13For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.
