Romans 11:26-33
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 11
26and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written: 'THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGodLINESS FROM JACOB.' 27'THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS.'
28In relation to the gospel they are enemies on your account, but in relation to God’s choice they are beloved on account of the fathers;
29for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
30For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience,
31so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy.
32For God has shut up all in disobedience, so that He may show mercy to all.
King James Version
Chapter 11
26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
29For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
33O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 11
26And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, The Deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. 27 And this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.
28Regarding the gospel, they are enemies for your advantage, but regarding election, they are loved because of the patriarchs,
29since God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.
30As you once disobeyed God but now have received mercy through their disobedience,
31so they too have now disobeyed, resulting in mercy to you, so that they also may now receive mercy.
32For God has imprisoned all in disobedience so that he may have mercy on all.
New Living Translation
Chapter 11
26And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say, 'The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness. 27And this is my covenant with them, that I will take away their sins.'
28Many of the people of Israel are now enemies of the Good News, and this benefits you Gentiles. Yet they are still the people he loves because he chose their ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
29For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.
30Once, you Gentiles were rebels against God, but when the people of Israel rebelled against him, God was merciful to you instead.
31Now they are the rebels, and God’s mercy has come to you so that they, too, will share in God’s mercy.
32For God has imprisoned everyone in disobedience so he could have mercy on everyone.
English Standard Version
27"and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins."
28As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers.
29For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
30For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience,
31so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy.
32For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.
New International Version
Chapter 11
26and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. 27And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins."
28As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs,
29for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.
30Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience,
31so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you.
32For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
New King James Version
Chapter 11
26And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; 27For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.”
28Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers.
29For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
30For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience,
31even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy.
32For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.
