Romans 8:17-18
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 8
17
and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with
Him
so that we may also be glorified with
Him.
18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy
to be
compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
King James Version
Chapter 8
17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 8
17
and if children, also heirs —heirs of God and coheirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.
18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.
New Living Translation
Chapter 8
17
And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.
18
Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.
English Standard Version
Chapter 8
17
and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
New International Version
Chapter 8
17
Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
New King James Version
Chapter 8
17
and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with
Him,
that we may also be glorified together.
18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy
to be compared
with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
