Romans 8:25-26
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 8
25
But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly
for it.
26
Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for
us
with groanings too deep for words;
King James Version
Chapter 8
25
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 8
25
Now if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patience.
26
In the same way the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with unspoken groanings.
New Living Translation
Chapter 8
25
But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)
26
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
English Standard Version

25
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for
it
with perseverance.
