Chapter 11

11So it was broken on that day, and so the afflicted of the flock who were watching me realized that it was the word of the Lord. 12And I said to them, 'If it is good in your sight, give me my wages; but if not, never mind!' So they weighed out thirty shekels of silver as my wages. 13Then the Lord said to me, 'Throw it to the potter, that magnificent price at which I was valued by them.' So I took the thirty shekels of silver and threw them to the potter in the house of the Lord. 14Then I cut in pieces my second staff Union, to break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15And the Lord said to me, 'Take again for yourself the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

11And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord.
12And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. 13And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord. 14Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15And the Lord said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

11It was annulled on that day, and so the oppressed of the flock who were watching me knew that it was the word of the Lord. 12Then I said to them, "If it seems right to you, give me my wages; but if not, keep them." So they weighed my wages, thirty pieces of silver.
13"Throw it to the potter," the Lord said to me—this magnificent price I was valued by them. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw it into the house of the Lord, to the potter. 14Then I cut in two my second staff, Union, annulling the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15The Lord also said to me: "Take the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

Chapter 11

11That was the end of my covenant with them. The suffering flock was watching me, and they knew that the Lord was speaking through my actions.
12And I said to them, 'If you like, give me my wages, whatever I am worth; but only if you want to.' So they counted out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.
13And the Lord said to me, 'Throw it to the potter ' — this magnificent sum at which they valued me! So I took the thirty coins and threw them to the potter in the Temple of the Lord.
14Then I took my other staff, Union, and cut it in two, showing that the bond of unity between Judah and Israel was broken.
15Then the Lord said to me, 'Go again and play the part of a worthless shepherd.

11So it was annulled on that day, and the sheep traders, who were watching me, knew that it was the word of the Lord. 12Then I said to them, "If it seems good to you, give me my wages; but if not, keep them." And they weighed out as my wages thirty pieces of silver. 13Then the Lord said to me, "Throw it to the potter" — the lordly price at which I was priced by them. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the Lord, to the potter. 14Then I broke my second staff Union, annulling the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15Then the Lord said to me, "Take once more the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

11It was revoked on that day, and so the oppressed of the flock who were watching me knew it was the word of the Lord.
12I told them, "If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it." So they paid me thirty pieces of silver.
13And the Lord said to me, "Throw it to the potter"—the handsome price at which they valued me! So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them to the potter at the house of the Lord.
14Then I broke my second staff called Union, breaking the family bond between Judah and Israel.
15Then the Lord said to me, "Take again the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

13And the Lord said to me, “Throw it to the potter”—that princely price they set on me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the Lord for the potter. 14Then I cut in two my other staff, Bonds, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15And the Lord said to me, “Next, take for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd.
