Zechariah 9:1-4
New American Standard Bible
King James Version
Chapter 9
1The burden of the word of the Lord in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, shall be toward the Lord. 2And Hamath also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise. 3And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets. 4Behold, the Lord will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 9
1A pronouncement: The word of the Lord is against the land of Hadrach, and Damascus is its resting place— for the eyes of humanity and all the tribes of Israel are on the Lord — 2and also against Hamath, which borders it, as well as Tyre and Sidon, though they are very shrewd. 3Tyre has built herself a fortress; she has heaped up silver like dust and gold like the dirt of the streets. 4Listen! The Lord will impoverish her and cast her wealth into the sea; she herself will be consumed by fire.New Living Translation
2Doom is certain for Hamath, near Damascus, and for the cities of Tyre and Sidon, though they are so clever.
3Tyre has built a strong fortress and has made silver and gold as plentiful as dust in the streets!
4But now the Lord will strip away Tyre’s possessions and hurl its fortifications into the sea, and it will be burned to the ground.

Chapter 9
1The oracle of the word of the Lord is against the land of Hadrach and Damascus is its resting place. For the Lord has an eye on mankind and on all the tribes of Israel, 2 and on Hamath also, which borders on it, Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise. 3Tyre has built herself a rampart and heaped up silver like dust, and fine gold like the mud of the streets. 4But behold, the Lord will strip her of her possessions and strike down her power on the sea, and she shall be devoured by fire.New International Version
Chapter 9
1A prophecy: The word of the Lord is against the land of Hadrak and will come to rest on Damascus— for the eyes of all people and all the tribes of Israel are on the Lord— 2and on Hamath too, which borders on it, and on Tyre and Sidon, though they are very skillful. 3Tyre has built herself a stronghold; she has heaped up silver like dust, and gold like the dirt of the streets. 4But the Lord will take away her possessions and destroy her power on the sea, and she will be consumed by fire.New King James Version
