What does 1 Chronicles 4:39 mean?
ESV: They journeyed to the entrance of Gedor, to the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks,
NIV: and they went to the outskirts of Gedor to the east of the valley in search of pasture for their flocks.
NASB: They went to the entrance of Gedor, as far as the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.
