What does 1 Kings 21:24 mean?
ESV: Anyone belonging to Ahab who dies in the city the dogs shall eat, and anyone of his who dies in the open country the birds of the heavens shall eat."
NIV: "Dogs will eat those belonging to Ahab who die in the city, and the birds will feed on those who die in the country."
NASB: The one belonging to Ahab, who dies in the city, the dogs will eat; and the one who dies in the field, the birds of the sky will eat.'
CSB: Anyone who belongs to Ahab and dies in the city, the dogs will eat, and anyone who dies in the field, the birds will eat.’"
