What does 1 Kings 21:7 mean?
ESV: And Jezebel his wife said to him, "Do you now govern Israel? Arise and eat bread and let your heart be cheerful; I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite."
NIV: Jezebel his wife said, "Is this how you act as king over Israel? Get up and eat! Cheer up. I’ll get you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite."
NASB: Jezebel his wife said to him, 'Do you now reign over Israel? Arise, eat bread, and let your heart be joyful; I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.'
CSB: Then his wife Jezebel said to him, "Now, exercise your royal power over Israel. Get up, eat some food, and be happy. For I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite."
NLT: Are you the king of Israel or not?' Jezebel demanded. 'Get up and eat something, and don’t worry about it. I’ll get you Naboth’s vineyard!'
