What does 2 Chronicles 12:16 mean?
ESV: And Rehoboam slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David, and Abijah his son reigned in his place.
NIV: Rehoboam rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David. And Abijah his son succeeded him as king.
NASB: And Rehoboam lay down with his fathers and was buried in the city of David; and his son Abijah became king in his place.
CSB: Rehoboam rested with his fathers and was buried in the city of David. His son Abijah became king in his place.
