What does 2 Chronicles 12:9 mean?
ESV: So Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem. He took away the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king 's house. He took away everything. He also took away the shields of gold that Solomon had made,
NIV: When Shishak king of Egypt attacked Jerusalem, he carried off the treasures of the temple of the Lord and the treasures of the royal palace. He took everything, including the gold shields Solomon had made.
NASB: So Shishak king of Egypt went up against Jerusalem, and he took the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s palace. He took everything; he even took the gold shields which Solomon had made.
