What does 2 Chronicles 15:17 mean?
ESV: But the high places were not taken out of Israel. Nevertheless, the heart of Asa was wholly true all his days.
NIV: Although he did not remove the high places from Israel, Asa’s heart was fully committed to the Lord all his life.
NASB: But the high places were not removed from Israel; nevertheless Asa’s heart was blameless all his days.
CSB: The high places were not taken away from Israel; nevertheless, Asa was wholeheartedly devoted his entire life.
