What does 2 Kings 15:38 mean?
ESV: Jotham slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
NIV: Jotham rested with his ancestors and was buried with them in the City of David, the city of his father. And Ahaz his son succeeded him as king.
NASB: And Jotham lay down with his fathers, and he was buried with his fathers in the city of his father David; and his son Ahaz became king in his place.
CSB: Jotham rested with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of his ancestor David. His son Ahaz became king in his place.
