What does 2 Kings 22:10 mean?
ESV: Then Shaphan the secretary told the king, "Hilkiah the priest has given me a book." And Shaphan read it before the king.
NIV: Then Shaphan the secretary informed the king, "Hilkiah the priest has given me a book." And Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king.
NASB: Moreover, Shaphan the scribe informed the king, saying, 'Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.' And Shaphan read it in the presence of the king.
