What does 2 Kings 22:8 mean?
ESV: And Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary, "I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the Lord." And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.
NIV: Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary, "I have found the Book of the Law in the temple of the Lord." He gave it to Shaphan, who read it.
NASB: Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, 'I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the Lord.' And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, who read it.
CSB: The high priest Hilkiah told the court secretary Shaphan, "I have found the book of the law in the Lord’s temple," and he gave the book to Shaphan, who read it.
