What does 2 Kings 9:13 mean?
ESV: Then in haste every man of them took his garment and put it under him on the bare steps, and they blew the trumpet and proclaimed, "Jehu is king."
NIV: They quickly took their cloaks and spread them under him on the bare steps. Then they blew the trumpet and shouted, "Jehu is king!"
NASB: Then they hurried, and each man took his garment and put it under him on the bare steps, and blew the trumpet, saying, 'Jehu is king!'
CSB: Each man quickly took his garment and put it under Jehu on the bare steps. They blew the ram’s horn and proclaimed, "Jehu is king!"
