What does Deuteronomy 19:17 mean?
ESV: then both parties to the dispute shall appear before the Lord, before the priests and the judges who are in office in those days.
NIV: the two people involved in the dispute must stand in the presence of the Lord before the priests and the judges who are in office at the time.
NASB: then both people who have the dispute shall stand before the Lord, before the priests and the judges who will be in office in those days.
CSB: the two people in the dispute are to stand in the presence of the Lord before the priests and judges in authority at that time.
NLT: then both the accuser and accused must appear before the Lord by coming to the priests and judges in office at that time.
KJV: Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the Lord, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;
