What does Deuteronomy 8:14 mean?
ESV: then your heart be lifted up, and you forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery,
NIV: then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
NASB: then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery;
CSB: be careful that your heart doesn’t become proud and you forget the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery.
