What does Deuteronomy 9:2 mean?
ESV: a people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know, and of whom you have heard it said, ‘Who can stand before the sons of Anak?’
NIV: The people are strong and tall—Anakites! You know about them and have heard it said: "Who can stand up against the Anakites?"
NASB: a people who are great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard it said, ‘Who can stand against the sons of Anak?’
