What does Esther 9:3 mean?
ESV: All the officials of the provinces and the satraps and the governors and the royal agents also helped the Jews, for the fear of Mordecai had fallen on them.
NIV: And all the nobles of the provinces, the satraps, the governors and the king’s administrators helped the Jews, because fear of Mordecai had seized them.
NASB: Even all the officials of the provinces, the satraps, the governors, and those who were doing the king’s business were supporting the Jews, because the dread of Mordecai had fallen on them.
CSB: All the officials of the provinces, the satraps, the governors, and the royal civil administrators aided the Jews because they feared Mordecai.
