What does Exodus 18:19 mean?
ESV: Now obey my voice; I will give you advice, and God be with you! You shall represent the people before God and bring their cases to God,
NIV: Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people’s representative before God and bring their disputes to him.
NASB: Now listen to me: I will give you counsel, and God be with you. You be the people’s representative before God, and you bring the disputes to God,

Book Summary:
The book of Exodus establishes God's covenant relationship with the full-fledged nation of Israel. The descendants of Abraham prosper after settling in Egypt, only to be enslaved by a fearful, hateful Egyptian Pharaoh. God appoints Moses to lead the people out of this bondage. Moses serves as God's spokesman, as the Lord brings plagues and judgments on Egypt, leading to the release of Israel.
